About onTest
onTest helps indie Android developers pass Google Play's Closed Testing requirement so they can ship to production in 14 days instead of 3 months.
The Problem We Solve
In November 2023, Google Play added a requirement for new personal developer accounts: before your app can go to production, you need 12 testers actively using it for 14 consecutive days.
In theory, simple. In practice, most indie developers spend weeks or months trying to meet this requirement — asking friends who don't use Android, paying Fiverr services that deliver fake email addresses, or trading 14-day testing commitments with strangers on Reddit.
We've been there. So we built something better.
How We're Different
- Real testers on real devices. No emulators, no throwaway Gmail accounts. Verified Android users on real devices.
- 14-day continuous engagement. Our testers don't drop off on day 5. Your Google Play clock doesn't reset.
- Transparent dashboard. See the activation status of every device, in real time.
- Indie-friendly pricing. Flat $2 per device, first 3 free on your first order of 12+. Starting at $18 total.
Built by Developers
onTest is built by Turgay Ulutaş, an Android developer based in Istanbul, Turkey. The idea came from watching a friend ship two successful Android apps (30k+ and 10k+ downloads) — both of which took 3 months to publish because of the closed testing requirement.
We're small, we're focused, and we're here for the same reason you are: to ship great Android apps without getting stuck in administrative quicksand.
